The Meslou de Tregain family occupied the Epinay property for more than a century.Emile de Tregain,the last survivor of the name was a passionate art collector. He bequeathed a large part of his collection to the museum in Rennes where one of the streets bears his name. His portrait hang in this room with its 18th century panelling.
